Academic Integrity
Every student should maintain academic integrity. The following misconduct violates the principles of academic integrity, including but not limited to: plagiarism, cheating, falsifying or misinterpreting materials, assisting others in violating the rules, starting exams in advance, etc. Any violation of academic rules will not be tolerated and may result in students being expelled from ECNU AISP.
Attendance
Every student should attend and complete all courses. Absence of more than 1/3 (including sick leave and personal leave) of course dates will result in the cancellation of course grades. If you are absent, you must ask the program staff and the professor for leave to explain the reason for the absence.
Grading
All courses of ECNU AISP adopt a letter-grade scoring system with letters from A to F. Students who obtain D and above can pass the course.
The Letter-Number Grading Table
The table below is the Letter-Number Grading Table adopted by ECNU AISP:
Number Grade | Letter Grade | Definitions |
94-100 | A | Extraordinary distinction, indicating a full mastery of course content and excellent work. |
90-93 | A- | |
87-89 | B+ | Strong performance demonstrating a high level of attainment, indicating a good comprehension of the course material and the student’s full engagement with the course requirements and activities. |
84-86 | B | |
80-83 | B- | |
77-79 | C+ | Acceptable performance, demonstrating an adequate and satisfactory comprehension of the course material and the student has met the basic requirements for completing assignments and participating in class activities. |
70-76 | C | |
60-69 | D | A marginal performance in the required exercises demonstrating a minimal passing level of attainment. |
0-59 | F | An unacceptable performance. The F grade indicates that the student's performance has revealed almost no understanding of the course content. |
Lecture Information
Each course counts for 4 credits. Lectures will be scheduled through Monday to Friday and each lecture lasts for 160 mins. If the number of students is less than 10 on a class, ECNU AISP reserves the right to cancel the class or combine the in-person class and the online class of the same course.
Transcript
The official transcript of ECNU AISP will be issued 2 to 4 weeks after the end of the session. If students need to transfer credits, they must contact their own institution in advance to obtain the credit transfer permission.
